A Tradervue alternative is another trading journal that does the same core job: records your trades, measures the results and helps you review them. If you trade US stocks and want each trade graded against your own plan by AI, Clear Tape is one option; if you need futures or forex, broker sync, charts of every trade or a sharing community, Tradervue fits better.
Tradervue at a glance
Tradervue is a web-based trading journal with a free plan, limited to a number of trades a month, and two paid plans. It imports from more than 80 trading platforms, lists broker sync on its Silver and Gold plans, has a generic import format for other brokers, and covers stocks and ETFs, options, futures and forex. Its strengths are automatic charts of each trade with the entries and exits marked, detailed reports, and sharing trades with other traders or a mentor. It doesn't advertise AI analysis.
Side by side
Tradervue's facts are from its own website, checked on 17 October 2026; prices and plans change, so check them before you decide.

Where Tradervue is stronger
- More markets. Options, futures and forex can be journaled.
- Broad imports and sync. More than 80 platforms, with broker sync listed on the paid plans.
- Charts of every trade. Seeing each entry and exit on the chart is fast for visual review; Clear Tape doesn't draw trade charts.
- Exit and excursion reports. MFE/MAE and exit analysis go deeper into trade management.
- Sharing and mentoring. Useful for traders who learn in a group or with a coach.
Where Clear Tape differs
- The plan comes first. Save a trade as a plan (entry, stop, targets, setup, thesis) before the order, then compare the execution with it.
- An AI score of the process. Each closed trade is graded out of 100 on plan, setup fit, entry, risk, management and discipline, never on P&L.
- Results in R. Expectancy, profit factor and drawdown in dollars and in R, so trades of different sizes compare fairly.
- A free plan without a monthly cap on imports. Paid plans raise the AI limits.
- Learning around the journal. Ten free calculators, six free Academy courses and the Learn guides, in English and Chinese.
Which to choose
- Choose Tradervue if you trade futures, forex or options, want broker sync, review visually on charts, or share trades with a mentor.
- Choose Clear Tape if you swing trade US stocks, want to plan before the entry and be graded on following the plan, or want a Chinese interface.
Moving your trades
Clear Tape imports from a broker's CSV export rather than from another journal, so export the period you want from the broker itself. Guides: Interactive Brokers, Charles Schwab, Fidelity, Robinhood and any other broker.
In Clear Tape
The trade journal (Journal in the dashboard menu) is free for every signed-in member, with one AI trade score a day; the Tools and Pro plans allow 10 and 30 a day and add an AI review of a whole period. See the trade journal page and pricing, and for the method, how to review your trades. Other comparisons: TradeZella alternative and Edgewonk alternative.
