Risk and investment disclaimer
Last updated: 14 October 2026
Clear Tape is for education and information only. It is not investment advice. Trading stocks, options and crypto is risky, and you can lose money, including more than you put in when you use leverage or sell options. Only trade with money you can afford to lose.
Not advice, and not personal
Nothing on Clear Tape (the analysis, trade alerts, positions, sector maps, picks, screens, options pages, AI answers or anything else) is a recommendation to buy, sell or hold any security for you. It doesn’t take into account your goals, finances, experience or tolerance for risk, and we don’t assess whether anything suits you. Decide for yourself, and consider independent advice from a licensed professional.
Not a licensed firm
Packsy Global B.V. and Clear Tape’s founder are not licensed or registered as an investment firm, investment adviser or broker with the Dutch AFM or any other regulator. We don’t manage money, take orders or hold client funds.
Our own positions
Clear Tape’s founder trades for their own account. The positions and trade alerts on Clear Tape are the founder’s own trades, shared as they are made. Clear Tape’s founder may hold, buy or sell the securities covered in the analysis and trade alerts, before, at the same time as or after an alert or analysis is published, and the founder’s interests can differ from yours. Alerts are posted as the founder acts, but members will usually get different prices than the founder did.
Past performance
Past performance does not predict future results. The track record is calculated from the alerts as posted (entry and exit prices at the time of each post), before commissions, fees, taxes and slippage, and is not audited. Backtests are hypothetical: they apply rules to past data with hindsight and don’t reflect real trading. Daily picks and screens are produced by rules from data, not by judgement about any company, and how earlier picks did says nothing about the next ones.
Data can be late or wrong
Market data, news and other information come from third parties and can be delayed, incomplete or wrong. Prices may be delayed; options data shown to members is as of the previous session’s close, not live; each page says what its data is and where it comes from. Don’t rely on Clear Tape for time-critical decisions, and check prices with your broker before you trade.
AI-generated content
Some content is written by AI models: the AI assistant, the trading-system coach, the options and Jev reads, the English translation of Clear Tape’s analysis, and AI-drafted analysis that Clear Tape’s founder reviews before it is published. These are labelled. AI output can be inaccurate, incomplete or out of date, even when it sounds certain. Treat it as a starting point for your own research, never as advice.
Your responsibility
You are solely responsible for your trading decisions and their results. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for any loss arising from your use of Clear Tape; see section 13 of the Terms of Service.
