Trade X-Ray: trade history analyzer

Your broker file

The file is read in your browser. Nothing is uploaded or saved.

What it checks

Six checks, each with a simple threshold you can judge for yourself:

How to get your file

Questions

Is my file uploaded?

No. The file is read by your browser, the report is worked out there, and nothing is sent to Clear Tape or saved. Closing the page clears it.

Which brokers does it read?

Interactive Brokers (Activity Statement and Flex Query), Charles Schwab, Fidelity and Robinhood exports are recognized automatically. Other brokers' files can be imported in the free trade journal by choosing the columns once.

How are fills turned into trades?

Fills are grouped per ticker into round trips, from no position to no position again, first in, first out. A sale whose purchase is before the file's period can't be matched and is left out, as are dividends, transfers and option lines.

Why are the results in dollars and not in R?

R measures a result against the risk you planned, which needs the stop. A broker file doesn't have it. In the trade journal you can add each stop and see every statistic in R.

Does it tell me what to trade?

No. It describes the trades in your file and points out patterns worth reviewing. It doesn't judge a strategy, predict anything or give investment advice.

From habits to rules

Import the same file into the free trade journal, add each trade's stop and plan, and you'll see results in R, statistics by setup, and an AI score of how closely each trade followed your own rules.

An educational tool: it describes the trades in your file. It isn't investment advice.
